Through the process of developing our new children’s hospital. RwHealth’s Benchmarking arm (formerly known as Civil Eyes Research), contributed benchmarking data and strategies at this point.

Q: How long have you been attending the Benchmarking Workshops?

We have been attending the workshops since 2018, so around two and a half years.

Q: What Led to to Join Our benchmarking series?

The ability to share thought processes with others so that we can all promote better care for children and young people.

Q: What has attending our workshops enabled you to do?

Engaging with the Benchmarking Workshops has allowed us to share different views and opinions regarding what has worked and not worked within Speciality Children’s Care. Through sharing initiatives with others, we’ve applied new learnings across many pathways, including Mental Health and Acute care an example.

“Engaging with the Benchmarking Workshops has allowed us to share different views and opinions within Speciality Children’s Care.”

As all the members are at different stages in terms of development, we’ve been able to work with others and drill down how we can improve our services. Q: What Value has the workshop series brought to the team?

The Club approaches Benchmarking data in a way that allows us to interact and engage with it. In addition to the benchmarking data, the clinical activity analysis conducted for the workshops has allowed us to focus on improving our services within Speciality Children’s care.
