We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer who will play a key role in continuing the growth of our business. In this role you will have control of a wide range of business operations, necessitating a keen eye for detail and the skills to implement rapid and effective change in whatever aspect of the business requires it.

As the perfect candidate, you have…

  • Extensive experience in building scalable systems and the strong people, operational, and financial leadership skills required to drive extensive and sustainable business growth.

  • The ability to rapidly grasp the core operating model of the business, and the experience to suggest ways in which processes, systems and procedures can be improved to drive financial and operational success.

  • The experience to ensure that we have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively support our growth trajectory, increase operating efficiency, and drive financial strength.

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, a pragmatic approach, and a strong sense of ownership of your work.

As COO you will:

  • Maintain key operational procedures, and establish policies, strategies and practices that promote our company vision and growth

  • Be a skilled communicator who empowers the whole team to reach their maximum potential through strong leadership and day to day operational excellence.

  • Implement measures that support efficient and effective delivery across the business

  • Drive operational and administrative improvements by establishing and monitoring relevant KPIs across the organisation.

  • Take ownership of all internal ops (including HR, finance, legal, IT, customer services, and administration.)

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Rapidly identify – and provide recommendations of how to mitigate – any potential organisational risk.

  • Design and oversee the company’s BCP

  • Regularly report to the CEO regarding overall operational performance.

  • Engage with external events and stakeholders.

Top candidates have:

  • A Master of Business Administration degree (MBA).

  • 7-10 years of successful business leadership experience as a COO

  • Operations in a healthcare/healthtech environment.

  • Solid understanding of the unique challenges of the sector, including staff management and business strategies.

  • An understanding of the company’s stage on the business lifecycle curve and what is required to effectively and efficiently develop and scale to the next level.

  • The experience to determine what will (and what won’t) deliver meaningful impact to the business, backed by a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.

  • The experience and ability to be effective in a business with a hybrid team.

  • The ability to implement and improve processes with minimal business disruption

Compensation commensurate with experience plus a strong shares package
